1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
- ride on a hot air balloon!
- get published on the papers!
- go to zouk
- meet up with pschool classmates
- take part in an amazing race
- a lot of designing
- donate blood!

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
- i didnt have any, except perhaps to be a better person and all. im not the best judge of myself- what do you think?
- a few for 2007:
1) learn driving
2) learn the guitar
3) learn Russian
4) be a better, healthy person

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
- yes! two of my cousins!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
- grandpa ];

5. What foreign countries did you visit?
- turkey!

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
- a certain vision of the future and a greater sense of self-confidence
- more friends and a closer family

- 19 june (as always, but because of the charming surprise and the nice family dinner)
- 29 nov (erm a levels ended? officially that is!)
- 31 dec (uni apps made me Very aware of dates i assure you, esp arnd deadline)

8. What was your biggest achievement of 2006?
- complete the As.
- juggle j2 cca with studies
- learning to give
- winning stuff like raffles trail and tenacious d :]

9. What was your biggest failure?
- not becoming a better person in some respects
- not hooking up with anyone haha

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
- nope!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
- the best things dont get bought.
but perhaps the many clothes and dvds and presents for friends will count.

- ashlee simpson- who made it to Chicago
- friends who were spontaneous and understanding
- family at times...esp the cute babiesss
i find it hard to be specific.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
- kira! and how the "world is rotten"!
at times some random individuals but nothing long-standing- which is good!
no more wars make love now

14. Where did most of your money go?
i think i spent a lot this year. been gg out more often, esp after the As.
for the holiday season in particular...most of the money went on friends.
so there- im an angel

15. What did you get really, really excited about?
- ashlee simpson getting on Chicago
- death note
- little miss sunshine
- turkey!
- raffles trail, haunted house, orientation, shifting gears
- tenacious D contest
- the As, in a perverse way
- uni apps, also in a perverse way

- i dare you (shine down), promiscuous/say it right/maneater / all good things (nelly furtado), tokyo drift (teriyaki boyz), chain hang low, invisible (ashlee simpson), superfreak (rick james), public affair (jessica simpson), fergalicious/ london bridge (fergie), chasing cars (snow patrol), sexy back/my love (justin timberlake), hurt / aint no other man (xtina aguilera), i write scenes not tragedies (panic! at the disco) etc.

- study, uni apps

- technically ive alrdy spent it...but yes, with my family :]]]

- trick question! "when i fall in love...it will be forever!"

- One? ONE night stand. mwhaha.

- Charmed- for an amazing series finale
and probably tied with Rockstar Supernova!

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
- No. thankfully. those worth hating, ive realized, are simply not worth the effort to begin with. they will rot!

25. What was the best book you read?
- im a slow/bad reader!
but if i had to choose, from my limited reads:

- can i say Dilana Robichaux?

- a fulfilling school life (ccas lessons etc.)

- ch V party passes to ryan star showcase!
- nelly furtado's loose!
- scissor sister's $100 hamper!
...come to think of it, 2006 was indeed a bumper year of winnings for me!
well, let's just hope the luck lasts for other perhaps more impt things in life!

28. What did you want and not get?
- a Moor Tarbet IHC win (includes Dramafest!);
- a photo with Ms Sandrilene Lo!
- a soulmate
- a different face and body in the mirror
- an applied award at grad ceremony
- a direct internship with SPH
- good prelim results

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
- Little Miss Sunshine! no contention this time! spectacular performance and surprising oscar runner woo hoo!
runner up would be Pirates of the Carribean 2! Dead Man's Chest. total complete joyride.
others include: step up, death note, the illusionist, crash, closer, shattered glass, x3, over the hedge, helen the baby fox etc.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
- woke up at 1pm, did math practice!
BUT got a great surprise frm snee zee gawin cc jonk! cake + macs breakfast! and presents and cards!
then dinner with family :]
a great way to turn 18, even without booze and sleaze! im clean!

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
- A better perspective on my life and control over studies in particular

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
- 2006 i made some good fashion improvements.
for one i did away with the always glasses thing and got contacts.
i felt my best fashion moments included but were not restricted to:
dramafest, sarah's party, prom night etc.
other than that i was capable of being crap. but more to come! i am a revolutionary!

33. What kept you sane?
- the Night and the Hope i sensed from it.
i was seriously on the verge of mental breakdowns on those helpless A level nights.
but also the pple that i live for, including myself.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
- Ashlee Simpson duh.
but kudos to Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Xtina Aguilera for their super comebacks.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
- Russia!

36. Who did you miss?
- So many people. Sigh. Still do.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
- Rating pple = disgusting.
plus who's really new?
some juniors, some teachers
but if i had to choose i would say Ms Lo for her big heart.
