i'd rather be anything but ordinary please!

wooohooo this past week has been nothing short of amazing and blissful. i feel so blessed, truly lucky and absolutely thankful.

it started with house interview results getting released and me getting through to campaign stage. we had campaigner's meeting and junyi, nash & myself formed a group. jonK was with glen so they formed a group with dwayne and alan (who was not around due to the list screw up)
so yeah after some brainstorming we came up with this tomato idea! by the next day posters were up and the couple of days were spent asking others to vote for us etc. this is mainly recapping as u can see but yeah the emotion then was exhiliration cuz for once i felt i was beginning to do something after so long. junyi became apple, nash was chilli, and i was tomato. yeah mostly posters around were from moor house but there were some cranky ones from philip/yeeler/zikai's group and others like liyana's too. so yeah in our class there were elly, jean, me, navjote, shumin, yeeler running for house. shum and nav were of course running for house capt. over the two days i was also deliberating who to vote for house capt. i already promised dani u see.

so the days passed by i had less sleep each time. on wednesday was listening to good ole zen micro on my way home (i skipped art and sets cuz i really needed rest!) and chanced upon michelle branch again. yes- that was what inspired my 'speech' the next day.

haha so in a zoom house meeting was there again. in lt4, house captain nominees gave really convincing speeches. i could tell all of them were really sincere. soon it was our turn and it was entertaining to watch others but at the same time nervous knowing it'll be your turn soon.
chengchai hit the spotlight when he became the resident questioner. it was hilarious. a fun time the whole thing. i was worried for jonK and alan when the crowd went restless. but we cld only hope for the best after that.

navjote (for coming straight up to me one day to say u were behind my group! that made my day!)

mr kwok, ms joanne, mrs perry, mr mac (for wearing my tomatoes or showing concern/acknowledgement that i was from moortarbet! made me feel warmth from the teachers!)

its because of this that my life feels so meaningful again! im out from the dumps thats for sure!

after this whole thing i realized there are pple around me after all who care when care is needed. im not being shallow just cuz i got in and all but yeah in my own way i saw the love, no matter how subtle. so thanks a lot.

the week wasnt quite over with that! i got my humans scholarship! am super relieved! thank you! i wanted to be happy but cldnt cuz some of us didnt get it. to those: we still love u u know that and we are all in this together! so hurray dont care abt it ok? let's have fun!!

when i got home on thursday i got another piece of good news: founder's day invitation! going back to receive AAA and service award! wooohoooo! words cldnt shape my elation. triple good news!!! that night i slept peacefully!

mrs perry's birthday and dance night on friday! friday the 13th didnt hurt one bit. mrs perry had a blast cuz 1B pasted a huge signage wishing her happy birthday up behind the flags. dance nite was AMAZING! slacked a lot in class before that though but went for dinner at mos burger with snee, uglen, denise, ying. angie and joy were great! so were all the dancers lah! the pictures capture the moment not my words, so i shant say more! but i enjoyed the last few ones a lot. SYF piece was the best i felt.

on my way home got sms to remind me i had stuff the next day. so i went back for sets and ORA stall with art club. went to ORA for awhile. sigh rmbring how it was one year ago i felt so so i dunno- sad? in a way, cuz time has passed us by so fast. dont wanna let go again. not again. sets wasnt good a session. got paint all over my hand like mystique. window isnt completed. soon. soon.

went home all alone and slept past my stop. called jonk later on to console him. i thought i heard him cry. dont cry people, we mustn't cry cuz the sun will always shine. so this weeek has been great. a lot of parallels with the past. and time keeps moving on.

just found out it was isaac's birthday on sunday too! haha oh well. jingzhongren rawks!
i had so much more to say but slipped my mind. a busy week ahead. been slacking this whole weekend. see ya then. exciting. congrats to all the moortarbet comm pple! we are gonna shine! and everyone from moortarbet join us in making moortarbet the best ok! whee! ushering on council invest too. founder's day. rp3 essay. econs. silas. rolly essay. joanne's wedding. all approaching. pw is irksome. gdnite.
